Waive Your School's Insurance

 

Welcome to the Waive Your School's Insurance Center!

This page is for those students who wish to opt-out (waive) out of the coverage under their school’s student insurance plan, and have the fee removed from their student account. The school’s student insurance plan can only be waived if the student has coverage under another acceptable insurance plan.

Submitting a waiver, is as easy as 123! The first step to waive out of your school’s student insurance coverage is to verify that you are a “hard waiver” student.

2012 - 2013 School Year - Fall Term

HARD WAIVER STUDENTS

Domestic and International (Full-Time Students)
All full-time undergraduate students (12 or more credit hours) and all full-time graduate students (9 or more credits) entering in the fall term will automatically be assessed an insurance charge and enrolled in this health insurance plan unless proof of comparable insurance is furnished.

International Students (Part-Time Students)
All part-time undergraduate (less than 12 credit hours) and graduate (less than 9 credit hours) F1 or J1 international students entering in the fall term will automatically be assessed an insurance charge and enrolled in this health insurance plan unless proof of comparable insurance is furnished.

  • Fall Waiver Deadline: September 14, 2012

All students having comparable outside coverage can deduct the amount of the health insurance from their bill by completing the online Ramapo College Health Insurance Waiver Form, no later than the published waiver deadline. The waiver form and waiver deadline can be found on the

Summer term enrollment is on a voluntary basis for all students.  You are not required to waive out of the insurance.
